Flux is a peer-to-peer dApp that interfaces with a meta-ontology we co-created called AD4M. This spanning layer enables Flux to use a variety of distributed technologies, leveraging the best use cases from different web3 infrastructures. Already, Flux uses Holochain for sharing of social graph data and IPFS for decentralized file storage. Future integrations such as video, multi-sig treasuries, NFTs/social tokens, and distributed governance are also possible and in development.

Fundamentally, Flux is architected in a highly modular and composable way. You can think of Flux as a tree of independent components that can use any distributed ledger, blockchain, or even centralized backend and be composed to create unique and dynamic experiences.

To better understand how this is all possible, let's take a look at AD4M.
